Ingredients
1/4Cup - Orange Juice
3 tbsp - Soy Sauce
2 - Garlic Cloves
1 tsp - Honey
3 - Grouper Fillets
1 cup - Basamati Rice
1 tsp - Parsley
1 tbsp - Olive Oil

Florida Style pan Seared Grouper

Step 1
Prepare sauce combining Orange Juice, Soy Sauce, minced garlic and honey in a small bowl. Preheat oven on 425°.

Step 2

Heat Iron Skillet to Medium High Heat and add a small amount of olive oil to pan. When Olive Oil starts to smoke lightly place grouper in pan and sear fillet on 1 side for about 2 minutes. Flip fillet in skillet and sear for 1 minute on 2nd side of fillet.

Step 3
Take pan from eye and place directly in oven and Bake at 425° for 6 to 8 minutes or until fish is opaque. Remove skillet from oven, and place fish, seared side up, on a platter.

Step 4
Wipe skillet clean. Cook butter in skillet over medium heat 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until butter begins to turn golden brown. Pour butter into a small bowl. Whisk in Orange Juice, Soy Sauce, minced garlic and honey.

Step 5
SEARING IS BEST FOR: Nearly any type of fish, but is easiest with firm fillets that are at least 1 1/2 inches thick, such as grouper, halibut, sea bass, and striped bass.

Step 6
Pour Sauce over grouper fillet on a bed of rice and serve with your favorite vegetables.
